A self-help book that actually helps

This book was published in 2014, but its message is more relevant than ever today. It was written for those who have an “overwhelmed schedule and [are] aching with the sadness of an underwhelmed soul.” It was written by the woman who created the Proverbs 31 Woman Ministries, so it is no surprise that her “message” is that there is a “big difference between saying yes to everyone and yes to God. ” Like Terkeust, I suffer from “the disease to please”–everyone, all the time.     Saying yes to too many things? Yep, that’s me, too. But, Rae, the real trouble is that there are so many amazing things in the world to do and to experience and there’s really so little time left. It’s hard to say no!
